One of the nice experiences i had up there, hundreds kilometers north from the polar circle, was to presence the Aurora borealis.
In this particular night, what you see was the climax and it was just vaining while i took this exposure. After 10 minutes everything was gone.
Here you see something tipical for the Lofoten islands, Stockfish- that mean dried cod. The fishing season goes from February to April and during that few month millions of codfishs are hung up to dry in the icy weather.
An image will never be really able to show the crazyness of that "green beeing" in the sky because it is constantly moving- but i hope you understand i felt like something was calling for me
Here i was really happy about the slight light pollution in the background, helping to separe the background a bit better.
As i was lucky two nights later, there are more shots still to process in the next days
Congratulations! Your wonderful photograph has been featured in the group, Those-Lovely-Lights. You can visit the official blog post here [link] .
